John W. Roark, Jr., MD

Dr. Roark was born in New Orleans, grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and came to California for college. The practice of Gastroenterology has greatly enriched his life. The opportunity to collaborate with the high quality partners in this dynamic group practice has been a wonderful experience. It has been a remarkable privilege to know and serve his patients.

When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid reader and life-long learner. He enjoys mountain biking, jogging and swimming. He loves spending weekends and vacations at Stinson Beach and the Russian River. His favorite trips abroad have been to Central America and Japan.

Areas of Interest: Inflammatory bowel disease and the full range of general gastroenterology with expertise in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
