Faraz Berjis, M.D.

Dr. Faraz Berjis has been in private practice since 2001. Dr. Berjis received his undergraduate degree in Biology from University of California Irvine (UCI). He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. His gastroenterology fellowship was completed at Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Berjis is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association. His special interests in gastroenterology include inflammatory bowel disease, hepatobiliary disease, and colon cancer screening and prevention. Dr. Berjis also is very interested in complementary medicine. He has also been a speaker to various health care groups on liver disease (fatty liver disease).
